Junior Linux Administrator

What do you need to start?

  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems
  • Basic understanding of related IT areas (HW mgmt, networking, monitoring)
  • Eager to acquire new skills in areas of IT technology areas (especially automation, scripting)

It's not essential, but we appreciate if you also have:
  • Practical knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, shell scripts)
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools
  • Practical knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Communicative English (B2)

 

What duties will help you grow?

  • Linux Server (RHEL 7) administration and support
  • Performing changes & tasks, resolving incidents according to agreed SLAs, along with problem management
  • Reporting issues to contractual partners (vendors) in terms of hardware support
  • Applying security patches and system upgrades
  • Maintaining technical documentation up-to-date
  • Permanent enhancement of IT knowledge with means of trainings, courses, e-learnings

 

What your development path can look like?


Discover IT! You will start your career from the onboarding plan where you’ll grab the basics. When you gain some experience remember that there’s a variety of roles that you can choose. Become: Infrastructure Analyst who will be responsible for taking care of client’s Linux infrastructure. If you are willing broaden horizons in not just one but more technologies this is a perfect occasion: other Unix systems, monitoring, scripting and automation or maybe cloud solutions, this offer opens door to IT world. By the time you can become Infrastructure Engineer or Consultant who will be responsible for deep investigations and provide solutions for infrastructure optimization.
