Dispatch Planning Team Manager is responsible for managing team Dispatch Planners of primary transport of finished goods between sourcing units and primary distribution centers (including overflow locations) within the European network. Team is responsible for daily deployment planning for specific client products portfolio (Category of Products), reconciliation, interacting with other stakeholders as necessary, performing the necessary rituals and routines (reports, meetings etc.), it is also first point of contact for this Category of Products functions, liaises with logistics team. 

Responsibilities

• Supporting team in collecting detailed deployment plan in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring its readiness and final shipments execution
• Ensuring dispatch planners run rough Cut Deployment Plan and review plan generated by SAP APO
• Ensuring processes of the dispatch planning team are followed with the best manner
• Focusing on continues improvement of dispatch planning team to reduce workload in long term horizon
• Eliminating barrier in dispatch planning activities execution
• Coordinates execution of special freights
• Ensuring health check of creation of transport orders in the systems SAP/Oracle for further execution
• Ensuring that correct priorities are given to transport of customer service
• Close collaboration with Warehousing, Production Planning, Documentation team and Logistics department
• Checking daily dispatch adherence – ensuring all orders from previous day has been loaded and shipped out
• Coordinating communication between Production Planning and Transport Planning ensuring plan is feasible to execute as well as in the best manner and on time to meet customer demand.

Minimum qualifications

• University degree (minimum Bachelor) – relevant years experiences 
• Experience in managing teams
• Good communication in English – both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers
• Process development, improvement, and implementation experience 
• Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills 
• Good understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics 
• Well-developed interpersonal / communication skills 
• Working knowledge of any of the ERP systems like SAP, JDA Manugistics, etc.
• Ability to work under time pressure and quickly set priorities
• Experience in supply planning or logistics 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Previous experience in SAP / APO welcome
• Another European language will be an asset
• Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, or supply/operations planning
